In present times the New Technologies have become direct and accessible instruments of communication, enabling us from this Municipal Police Department (Seguridad Ciudadana) to open a window of information so that the residents of Marbella and San Pedro can get to know the services the Local Police, Fire Brigade and Civil Protection provide first hand.
It is with great satisfaction that our Police Department has put into operation this tool aimed at strengthening the quality of the services we provide as part of the Public Administration, as well as being a reference for residents, neighbourhood groups, societies and all kinds of associations.
Following the guidelines of the Governing Corporation presided over by our Mayoress Ángeles Muñóz, the objective of the Police Department and Emergency Services (Concejalía de Seguridad Ciudadana y Servicios de Emergencias) is to carry out and promote a work role based on the close contact, efficiency and professionalism of the police officers and civil servants who have chosen jobs where their vocation to serve the public comes first.
We hope to continue improving, more and more with everyone’s collaboration.
