Aves del Parque de la Constitución
Existe un mundo desconocido en las ciudades que la mayoría de sus habitantes desconoce, debido sobre todo a que tenemos el concepto que la naturaleza no existe en las mismas. La realidad es bien distinta y cada vez más los entornos urbanos ofrecen oportunidades para una gran variedad de seres vivos que encuentran entre nosotros su sustento vital.
La naturaleza urbana se hace posible, en gran medida, gracias a los árboles que habitan nuestras calles, plazas, parques y jardines. Estos maravillosos seres inmóviles acogen durante distintas épocas del año una gran variedad de especies de aves que buscan en ellos cobijo y alimento.
Este Parque de la Constitución es considerado por las aves como un bosque. En este ecosistema urbano las aves revolotean incesantemente de un lado para otro buscando alimento. Si estamos atentos descubriremos en él ese mundo invisible que existe a nuestro alrededor, podremos observar o escuchar al pequeño reyezuelo listado, considerado como el ave mas pequeña de Europa o contemplar entre la vegetación herrerillos, carboneros y el simpático y bello petirrojo.
The birds of Constitution Park
There is an unknown world in cities ignored by the majority of their inhabitants because somehow the idea prevails that in them nature is absent. The reality is quite different and increasingly urban areas offer opportunities to a wide variety of living creatures managing to sustain themselves among us.
Nature in urban environments is sustained largely thanks to the trees that grow on our streets, in squares, parks and gardens. These wonderful, static, silent, representatives of life host a wide variety of bird species seeking shelter and food during different times of year.
Birds experience Constitution Park as a forest. In this urban ecosystem birds flutter incessantly from one side to another looking for food. If we pay attention we will discover the invisible world that exists around us, a place where we can study and watch or listen to the Firecrest, considered Europe’s smallest bird, or in between its vegetation contemplate the Blue Tits, the Great Tits and the friendly, beautiful Robin.
