Aves Marinas
Nuestro paseo marítimo es una ventana abierta al mar y mientras paseamos por el, contemplamos un paisaje donde la naturaleza se encuentra en constante trasiego ante nuestros ojos. Es un lugar donde las aves marinas vuelan sobre sus aguas y nos miran con atención.
Al observar el horizonte con detenimiento descubriremos las distintas especies de aves marinas que durante todo el año visitan las costas de Marbella, muchas de ellas vienen atraídas por el benigno clima de este lugar enclavado en el Mediterráneo. Durante los meses de otoño e invierno podremos divisar estas aves que nos visitan desde las latitudes más norteñas. Una de ellas es el alcatraz atlántico, ave de gran envergadura que se puede ver fácilmente cuando se zambulle en el mar desde una gran altura para atrapar a sus presas.
Otras especies como los charranes patinegros, cormoranes y gaviotas reidoras se pueden ver fácilmente desde la costa, así como pequeños limícolas que buscan su alimento a orillas del mar. Otra circunstancia importante son los movimientos migratorios que en estas costas son de gran importancia debido a la cercanía del estrecho de Gibraltar, uno de los lugares más importantes del mundo para la observación de estos fenómenos naturales.

Seabirds
Our walk by the sea is an open window and while we walk through it, we are given the opportunity to contemplate a landscape completely merged in the constant changes of nature right in front of our eyes. In this place, sea birds flies over the water even as they keep a keen eye on us.
As we attentively watch the horizon, we peruse different sea bird species that visits Marbella’s coastline throughout the year, many of them are attracted to the wonderful Mediterranean climate of this location. During Autumn and Winter, these birds visits us from northernmost latitudes. One of them is the Northern Gannet, a large bird that can be easily seen when diving in the sea from a great height to catch its prey
Other species such as sandwich terns, cormorants and laughing gulls can be seen easily from the coastline while the small waders are looking for their food by the sea. Another very important circumstance are the migration movements that takes place in these coastlines, they are essential due to the Strait of Gibraltar, one of the most relevant places in the world for the observation of these natural phenomena.
