Aves del Parque de la Represa
Existe un mundo desconocido en las ciudades que la mayoría de sus habitantes ignora, debido sobre todo a que tenemos el concepto de que la naturaleza no existe en las mismas. La realidad es bien distinta y cada vez más los entornos urbanos ofrecen oportunidades para una gran variedad de seres vivos que se encuentran entre nosotros.
La naturaleza en la ciudad se hace posible en buena parte gracias a los árboles que salpican de vida nuestras calles, plazas, parques y jardines. Estos maravillosos seres inmóviles acogen durante distintas épocas del año una gran variedad de especies de aves que buscan en ellos cobijo y alimento.
Este parque de la Represa tiene una variada representación de avifauna debido a que están representadas por un lado las aves forestales, las cuales consideran los espacios arbolados como un bosque y, por otra parte, las especies acuáticas, presentes en sus estanques. Si estamos atentos descubriremos un mundo oculto a nuestro alrededor donde podremos ver y escuchar al pequeño reyezuelo listado, considerado el ave más pequeña de Europa y contemplar especies interesantes como la gallineta común o la garza real.

There is an unknown world in the cities that is ignored by the majority of the inhabitants especially since we tend to believe that there is no nature comprised in them. Reality is different and progressively the urban environment offers opportunities for a large variety of living beings that are among us.
The existence of nature in the city is possible, largely due to the trees that fills our streets, squares, parks and gardens with life. During several seasons of the year, these wonderful immovable beings are there to welcome a large variety of bird species that are seeking their shelter and food on them.
The park in the dam have a several species of birds represented by the forest birds, they consider that the woodland is a forest and on the other side, we have the marine species who are always dwelling around the ponds. If we pay close attention, we will find a hidden world all around us where we can see and listen to the small fire crest, considered as the smallest bird in Europe. We can also see interesting species such as the moorhen or the grey heron.
